INCOMING FRESHMAN ONLINE ENROLLMENT

All interested families in Freshmen Enrollment are invited to register their freshman for the upcoming school year. This step includes payment of the $250 registration fee.

PLACEMENT TEST FOR INCOMING FRESHMEN

Archbishop Award Winners are recognized for scoring in the top percentile of the testers at St. James. They receive $1500 their freshman year and $500 each year thereafter, so long as they’re students in good standing. This group is recommended for several, if not all, Pre-AP curriculum their freshman year.

President Award Winners are recognized for being the second percentile of testers. They receive $500 their freshman year, and $250 each year thereafter so long as they’re students in good standing. Most of these students will be recommended for Pre-AP courses their freshman year.

Principal Award Winners are recognized for being in the third percentile of our testing group. They receive $250 their freshman year and will likely be recommended for Pre-AP courses their freshman year.

SCHOLARSHIPS

St. James Academy offers several coveted scholarships for specific achievements to incoming freshmen. Freshmen who enrolled and took the St. James placement test are eligible to apply. The detailed application steps are linked on the Scholarship page.

FRESHMAN ENROLLMENT NIGHT 7:00 P.M.

FEBRUARY 4, 2020

Freshmen and at least one parent should attend, to receive their placement test scores and the next steps to finalize enrollment. Sessions with each assigned counselor will help clarify the freshman curriculum.

SCHOLARS RECEPTION

FEBRUARY 25, 2020, 7:00 P.M.

All placement test award recipients and scholarship winners are invited with their parents, 8th-grade teachers, principals and pastors to celebrate their achievements and set expectations for continued excellence in high school. This is an invitation-only event.

NEW STUDENT FAIR

APRIL 23, 2020

The Fair provides incoming freshman and parents all the tools to start off their high school career at SJA. Try on uniforms, tour campus, shop for spirit wear, meet coaches and sponsors, etc. It’s also an opportunity for local families and students of all ages to learn more about the community of St. James Academy and how their student can excel in their faith, academically and through activities.
