St. James Academy’s belief that Catholic education is the commitment and responsibility of the parents leads to our need-based financial aid policy that dictates a percentage of tuition from the operating budget to be used exclusively for financial aid. Also, the Johnson County parishes provide the subsidy to reduce the tuition responsibility of their parishioners.
The criteria for determining need-based financial assistance are the same for all three Johnson County High Schools (Bishop Miege, Saint Thomas Aquinas, and St. James Academy). Generally, the amount of assistance for which a family qualifies will be the same at each high school.
